Summary

LFCM energy structure was determined for the first time by optical absorption spectroscopy method. It has been identified for sure that LFCM should be classified as glass ceramics. It have been also determined that LFCM do have an energy gap, which is much narrow than one in usual silicate glasses; that causes lesser LFCM radiation steadiness comparing with usual glass. Complicated LFCM energy structure provided by numerous defects, which promotes such collective phenomena as coulomb explosion manifestation and various processes responsible for electron sputtering as well.
