Summary

Basic provisions of conceptual model of the "blast furnace" version of formation of nuclear-dangerous accu-mulation of the fuel containing materials (FCM) hidden in a zone of pro-melting of a under-reactor slab of the Cher-nobyl NPP Unit 4 are formulated. The phases of the accident which have led to formation "blast furnace" configurations of materials and conditions, providing start and maintenance of long process of melting of the fragments of the former core (FFC) of the reactor crushed by explosion as charge in the metallurgical blast furnace, are qualitatively considered. Formation of FCM with a critical mass of uranium and Lava-like FCM (LFCM) is considered as result of two interconnected processes - molten core/concrete interactions (MCCI) and melting of FFC in a bathtub of silicate fusion that was formed of the materials "furnace charges" (FFC, silicate materials of technological filling, etc.). It is similar to the blast furnace scoria the mass of LFCM containing only 5 % of uranium, poured out from a bathtub of molten materials and formed powerful glass flows from "blast-furnace process" epicenter in a southeast quadrant under-reactor room 305/2 to adjacent rooms of the reactor building. The part of LFCM which has remained after burning out of "furnace charge" in a bathtub of melt, stiffened, having covered with itself in MCCI epicenter a cooling-down corium with the mass content of uranium from 50 %. Water inflow in a FCM accumulation zone with the high content of fuel created conditions for repeated criticality of nuclear materials.
Keywords: uranium, corium, fuel containing materials, silicate, charge, scoria.
