Summary

The article presents the results of calculation and experimental studies of the neutron activity long-term dynamics of fuel-containing lava-like accumulations. From 1990 to the present time the neutron activity is actually determined by (α, n)-reaction neutrons, constant growth of which (at accumulation of 241Am) completely compensate recession of 244Cm spontaneous fission. The presence of an neutrons internal source in multiplying environment determine the presence of an additional heat source (of induced fission), the capacity of which is directly dependent on the current subcriticality of nuclear dangerous accumulations, that are hidden in the area of under-reactor slab melting.
