Summary

Kinds of damages and the reasons of failure of powerful turbogenerators are analyzed. Results of numerical settlement researches of distribution of thermomechanical stress in elements of the top core of a winding stator turbogenerator ТВВ-1000-2У3 in a nominal mode are resulted at the normal and reduced charge of distillate. It is shown, at what charges of water of size of that stress reach dangerous values.
