Summary

It provides the description of Integrated Automated Monitoring System of the Shelter (IAMS): its purpose, configuration, equipment characteristics, monitored parameters describing the conditions of nuclear safety and radiological protection of personnel, loading capacity and reliability of building structures, seismic activity in the area of ChNPP site. IAMS is intended for collection and storage of data on parameters of Shelter condition, its local area and site within ChNPP. IAMS consists of 4 subsystems: nuclear safety monitoring system, radiation monitoring system, building structure condition monitoring and seismic monitoring system. IAMS is equipped with light and audible alarm to warn the personnel if the monitored parameters change and cause the decrease of Shelter safety level.
