Summary

The paper provides an analysis of a previously developed method for assessing current performance rapid-pressure-reducing device reset the environment to the atmosphere in the process of design accidents with two-phase flow. It is shown that the main limitations of the method associated with the assumptions made about the potential and the homogeneous flow regime.
